Mrs. Melissa Lee has been a part of CCA since 2007 beginning as a preschool and PreK teacher. She earned her B.A. in Elem. Education from WGU and is currently teaching second grade. Mrs. Lee has lived in Idaho since around 1983 when her missionary parents took a job at Cocolalla Lake Bible Camp in North Idaho. She has been married to Walter since 1994 and is the mother to 4, wonderful daughters, Megan, Becca, Jenni, and Samantha and grandmother to Jaxson, Benett and a grand-daughter due in mid Sept. Her two youngest daughters attended CCA for much of their elementary education. Mrs. Lee's main goal as a teacher is to reach each child where they are at and to instill the love of God in their hearts. No matter where each student ends up continuing their education, she hopes each will stand strong for Christ and show the light of God to others. In her free time, Mrs. Lee loves to run (mostly half marathons), hike, do puzzles (6,000 pieces in her record),  kayak, read and explore any ocean she can get to. She values the benefits of exercise in children since it also keeps the mind sharp and helps release the stresses of the world. She has gone to CDA Bible Church for around 27 years and is actively involved in women's and children's programs there. One of her favorite verses is John 3:16 and she hopes all who come through the doors of CCA will feel God's love and accept His free gift of salvation.
