Hello!

I was born in Toledo, Ohio and am an Ohio State Buckeye fan! I graduated from Pensacola

Christian College with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in English. I have thirty years of

teaching experience in Christian education. I have taught all grades, but the last twelve years, I

have taught 7th-12th grade English, literature, spelling, and writing.

 

One of my greatest desires is to help my students bring glory to God by teaching them how to have a right view of God

though Bible class, how to communicate clearly and accurately through grammar and writing, to

critically think through literature, to understand God is in control of all things through history, to

see God’s power through science, and to be good stewards of God’s money through math.

I am extremely excited about being a part of Cornerstone Christian Academy, and I am looking

forward to getting to know each one of my students and their families this year! I believe each

student is fearfully, wonderfully, and uniquely made. I will work hard to know each student and

how they learn best. I will challenge my students with love, compassion, availability, and

accountability.

I have not only the privilege to be a teacher but also a pastor’s wife. My husband is the pastor of

Liberty Lake Baptist Church in Spokane Valley, Washington. We are blessed with six children and

ten grandchildren. I have a chocolate lab named Daisy which is almost as spoiled as my grand-

babies! I love anything yellow. On my free time, I love to sped time with my family and ride my motorcycle.
